It's time I wrote a proper bio. I'm Ankh. It's not my legal name, but it is my real name. I've been a writer since I was a little kid, but on this page you'll mostly just see my photography, which I've only been into for a year or so. I'm learning fast and having a lot of fun with it.
I'm an atheist. That doesn't mean that I believe there are no gods. It means I don't believe there are any gods. If you're not smart enough to tell the difference, then you should educate yourself. I was raised going to a catholic church, and it took me 19 years to really start breaking my mind out of that prison. I'm more than happy to talk about it with people, even people who wish to convert me, and I'm quite capable of doing it in a friendly way.
I'm an anarchist, which simply means that I do not consent to or recognize any government's authority. It doesn't mean I run around spraypainting circled capital A's everywhere and smashing shop windows. I live by the nonaggression principle and never visit aggression on anyone except in self defense. Nobody has the right to attack you without provocation, not even cops. If a police officer attacks you, it's all right to fight back. I'm happy to discuss this as well, though experience has shown me that people get very emotional when they defend the state, so if you want to start a conversation with me about it, be courteous.
