I've started learning how to do portraits.  I got some equipment and I'll post some shots of my girlfriend once I get some really good ones.  Maybe I'll even post a few from my initial sessions.  It's fun doing nature shots, but I definitely want to branch out and do some different things, especially things that people will pay me to do.
I started a website a while ago, and it's going pretty well.  Here's a link if you want to see it.

Ignore this if you don't like people being a bit egotistical.  I try not to be like that, but right now I just feel like sharing this with whoever cares to read it.

As I review my pictures, I'm really surprised that I'm able to make such impressive pictures.  I say make rather than take because I'm not just taking a picture and posting it.  An HDR involves processing, and when it's processed I edit it further to really dial up the dramatic qualities.  To me, drama is what a really good cloud conveys, and I'm very pleased with how good I've gotten at bringing that out in my pictures.
I can't see a lot of pictures because the links are broken.  Is this happening to anybody else?  I can't even submit my newest pictures because they aren't showing up.  How annoying.
Two days ago, I finally had my meeting with a local non-profit organization to determine officially whether or not I have Asperger's Syndrome.  Not only did I get my diagnosis, but I also scored 124 overall in the IQ test.  In the area of language I scored 143, which is in the 99.8th percentile.  That means there aren't many people smarter than me when it comes to using language.  I don't mean to brag... but actually, yes I do.  BOW BEFORE ME!

So now I can finally apply for the help that I need.  It's a major relief because I've had problems with jobs because of how my mind works and my physical sensitivities.  I'm looking forward to a bright future where the world acknowledges and eventually comes to accept me for who I am.

A few years ago, I got involved with a new blogging site called Examiner.com.  I didn't know it would get big, so I didn't write much on it, but it has come to my attention that a lot of people go there and read stuff.  So I dusted off my page and started writing stuff again.  It's a paid gig too, so if I get a lot of readers, I can make some money.  Go check me out.

Hey everybody!  I've been away from deviantart too much lately, and I see I've left some messages ignored for way too long.  Sorry about that.  I also haven't been posting as much, but I'm still around, so you can count on more cloudy goodness from me in the future.

It occurs to me that I could get bright shots more easily if I had a neutral density filter for my camera.  I'll work on getting that.  I have a graduated neutral density filter, but that only covers half the lens.  Now for a sudden end to this blog post.

I started a blog with some friends of mine in a group for people with Asperger's Syndrome, which for those of you who don't know is at the high functioning end of the autism spectrum.  Some see it as a disorder, but it could also be said that not having it is a disorder.  The blog will be about our experiences and lessons we've learned living our aspie lives.

It seems like it.  Their heads and faces look like those of infants, and often they are drawn as being clearly young children with overdeveloped body parts.

Yesterday I got a 55-250mm lens for my camera.  Hurray!  Now I can zoom in on stuff from a distance and not scare it away.

A few months ago, my greatest wish came true, and I wasn't even trying to make it.  It just happened all by itself, and it took me by surprise.  I'm pretty sure I deserve this, but just in case I don't, I'm going to try to be a really really good person for the rest of my life.  :D

Rules:

1. You must set the rules.  (but it doesn't say you can't change them, mwahahaha)
2. While doing this, you must be wearing no more than underwear.
3. .tnaw uoy fi sdrawkcab srewsna ruoy epyt nac uoY
4. You can tag people who aren't real if you want.
5. There is no spoon.

---------------------------------
1-Why did you join the DA
I don't remember exactly when, but my profile says it was 5 years ago.  Wow, has it really been that long?

2-Sunrise or Sunset?
Sunset.  You don't have to get up early to see it.

3-If you could bring someone famous back from the dead, who would it be and why?
I would bring back Hitler just so I could get to know him.  I think he'd be interesting.  I don't admire him or anything.  He's just really really famous.

4-Who is your favorite super hero :D
Spider-Man, of course!

5-What is your fondest childhood memory
It was the first year I spent living in Michigan.  The whole thing.  I had a lot of friends and lots of interesting places outside to explore.

6-How did you break your first bone
I have yet to break a bone.

7-What's your favorite lyric
"of"
It really speaks to me.

8-If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I would live in a cloud because clouds are awesome.

9-What's your favorite medium of art
I prefer large.  Haha just kidding.
Assuming you mean visual art, my favorite to do is photography because I'm better at it than the others I've tried.  My favorite to see is rocks sculpted by the wind in cool shapes.

10-What emotion do you have the most trouble controlling?
Definitely anger, though I'm doing much better at it than I have in the past.  It's embarrassing to be heard screaming at the computer, and I don't want to end up taking it out on other people, so when I start flying off the handle, I stop and think about why I'm angry.  Once I identify the true source, the anger loses all of its power over me.

I was tagged by insertjoke-here.deviantart.com… who is probably annoyed that I'm not abiding by the rules of the tag, but I don't usually go for these kinds of things.  I liked the questions she asked.  They're much better than the incomprehensible ones she got.

Now to come up with 10 questions of my own and tag people maybe.  These are hard to come up with.

1.) Who is your favorite fictional character?  It can come from a book, a movie, a show, something you made up, mythology, or whatever, as long as you do not believe the person you picked ever really existed.

2.) Why did you pick Jesus?  Don't you know he's your savior?  Hahaha just kidding.

the real 2.) Can you prove that there is not an invisible dragon under your bed?

3.) Do you believe that obedience is a virtue?  Explain your answer (or else).

4.) What is your favorite shape?

5.) What do you think is the ideal form of government?

6.) Why do you hold the view that you hold regarding religion?

7.) Do you think it's abuse to spank a child?

8.) True or false: Might makes right.  Explain your answer.

9.) Will you send me a dollar?  If yes, send it through paypal to the_mighty_ankh@yahoo.com

10.) Will you send me five more dollars?

I wasn't sure I was going to see any more cool cloud formations like during this past summer until next summer, but the planet has kindly proven me wrong with many days of spectacular skies.  Hurray!

Life in general has been quite awesome for me over the past few weeks.  I no longer feel ambivalent about being alive. :D

I saw that I can make a calendar right here on deviantART.  Isn't that convenient?  It's under the print options for "100th Sky", which is featured on my profile, among other products featuring that particular picture, such as mouse pads and mugs.  I'll open up some more options for some of my other pictures, especially if they are requested.

So buy a calendar so I can buy stuff!

In the future, I'm going to just post the best of the pictures that I take.  I post too much at one time when I post, and I think it'll be a better collection overall if there's not so much in there.

The universe started out as a single point of superconcentrated matter.  Time began when this point, or singularity, expanded.  At the instant it began to expand, it was at its hottest, with particles (if they could have been called that) moving extremely quickly.  As time went, it cooled down.  Stars formed, and they are continuing to be formed, but the cycle will eventually come to an end, and there will one day be no more potential energy in the universe to become heat.  Life as we know it will forever be impossible after the universe's heat death.

Through us, in this brief moment of sentience, part of the universe knows this will happen.  Life is a natural occurrence wherever the conditions for it exist.  It adapts to its environment, perhaps for the express purpose of gaining sentience.  I'm not saying it occurs by design.  I'm saying that sentience is as natural and inevitable as life itself wherever the conditions for it can be found.  Nonliving materials come together and become arranged by natural forces to gain the ability to understand the world around them.  As the late, great Carl Sagan said, we are a way for the universe to know itself.  We should use this moment to gather all the information that we can and appreciate that we are an extraordinary, though small, part of everything.

Howdy, folks!  I've been having tons of fun taking pictures and sharing them with everybody.  There was a time when I posted a thank you to people for favoriting, but I kinda get too many now to want to do that, so what I do instead is look at the galleries and favorites of the people who favorite my stuff and do some comments and faves of my own.  I figure people would prefer that anyway.  It takes longer, but I think it's more personal.  Whenever I see that I have new messages but it's just people thanking me for adding their work to my favorites, it's disappointing.  I'd rather they do what I do and check out my stuff.

Extra special thanks go to my frequent favoriters who keep up with my stuff.  These great people include:

Thepandagamer (thepandagamer.deviantart.com)
tubbums32 (tubbums32.deviantart.com)
vampirepixie148 vampirepixie148.deviantart.com
nondani (nondani.deviantart.com)
brianfallen97 (brianfallen97.deviantart.com)
crazylacey (crazylacey.deviantart.com)
toniart57 (toniart57.deviantart.com)

Your support is greatly appreciated.

In other news, I will be getting a much nicer camera in about a month, so hopefully my pictures will start looking even better then.  I'm looking to go professional with photography.  Maybe I'll see if the Daily Bugle wants to buy pictures of Spider-Man.
