I started a blog with some friends of mine in a group for people with Asperger's Syndrome, which for those of you who don't know is at the high functioning end of the autism spectrum. Some see it as a disorder, but it could also be said that not having it is a disorder. The blog will be about our experiences and lessons we've learned living our aspie lives.

Portraits coming eventually
I've started learning how to do portraits. I got some equipment and I'll post some shots of my girlfriend once I get some really good ones. Maybe I'll even post a few from my initial sessions. It's fun doing nature shots, but I definitely want to branch out and do some different things, especially things that people will pay me to do.

Tooting my own horn a bit
Ignore this if you don't like people being a bit egotistical. I try not to be like that, but right now I just feel like sharing this with whoever cares to read it.
As I review my pictures, I'm really surprised that I'm able to make such impressive pictures. I say make rather than take because I'm not just taking a picture and posting it. An HDR involves processing, and when it's processed I edit it further to really dial up the dramatic qualities. To me, drama is what a really good cloud conveys, and I'm very pleased with how good I've gotten at bringing that out in my pictures.
lots of broken pictures
I can't see a lot of pictures because the links are broken. Is this happening to anybody else? I can't even submit my newest pictures because they aren't showing up. How annoying.
